1. According to the damaged state of the cover glue, draw a cutting and repairing line along the damaged part (at least 15mm to 20mm beyond the damaged part), and cut obliquely at a 45-degree angle and peel off the damaged cover glue. Damage the underlying fabric layer.
2. Prepare the repair film, the size is consistent with the cut surface, and the thickness is consistent with the original cover rubber (multiple layers can be stacked). Cut oblique cuts around the perimeter (vulcanized film for cold bonding, unvulcanized film for hot repair).
3. Brush the repaired parts and patches to remove rubber shavings and impurities, apply glue on the repaired parts and patches, apply cold glue at least twice, and dry them fully.
4. Attach the repair film and fully roll it firmly, and lightly cut the excess rubber edge around it with a knife to make it smooth.
5. If hot repair can be vulcanized, the conditions can refer to vulcanized joints, and the vulcanization time can be calculated according to the thickness of the covering rubber at the repaired place.
